Real Madrid coach Álvaro Arbeloa commented on reports suggesting that Portuguese coach José Mourinho will be the next manager of the Spanish team and lead them to turn things around, saying that he is the best option.
Arbeloa explained in a press conference ahead of Real Madrid's match against Sevilla, scheduled for Sunday in La Liga: "The club will make its decision regarding the coach for next season when it deems it appropriate. As for me, as a player and a Real Madrid fan, Mourinho is the best."
Arbeloa, who previously played under Mourinho during the latter's time managing Real Madrid between 2010 and 2013, said in comments reported by "The Touchline": "I thought so a month ago, and I still do. He is one of us, and he always will be. If he comes back here next season, I will be very happy to have him home."
