Oil prices rose on Friday to nearly $110 a barrel.
"Oil prices rose to nearly $110 a barrel," according to media reports.
Earlier, Brent crude futures increased by $1.32, or 1.25%, to $107.04 a barrel, and West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures also rose by $1.33, or 1.31%, to $102.50.
Brent crude has risen by nearly 6% this week, and WTI has also jumped by more than 7% due to uncertainty surrounding the potential for a war with Iran.
