Araghchi: Agreement Reached With U.S. to Postpone Enriched Uranium File to Later Stage

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Friday that an understanding had been reached with the United States to postpone discussion of the enriched uranium file to a later stage of negotiations.

Speaking at a press conference, Araghchi said in remarks followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The issue of enriched uranium is highly complex, and we have reached an understanding to defer it to a later stage of the negotiations.”

He added: “We have doubts about Washington’s seriousness in the negotiations, and when we see seriousness from its side, we will move forward in the negotiation process.”
