The Head of the National Wisdom Movement Ammar al-Hakim and Secretary-General of the Badr Organization Hadi al-Amiri on Friday stressed the importance of filling the remaining vacant ministerial posts as soon as possible.

Al-Hakim said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that he welcomed al-Amiri’s visit, noting that they discussed political developments, particularly the parliamentary vote of confidence in the government of Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi.

He added that granting confidence to the government represents the beginning of responsibility in meeting the aspirations of the people, stressing the need to complete the remaining ministries without delay.

Al-Hakim also emphasized that unity within the Coordination Framework is essential for maintaining a unified political stance, calling for its preservation and strengthening.

Both sides, according to the statement, stressed the need for a lasting end to the war in the region and a return to dialogue that guarantees rights and preserves sovereignty.
