Judge Zidan: We Hope Government Will Succeed in Advancing the State, Fulfilling Aspirations of Its People

The President of the Supreme Judicial Council of Iraq Judge Faiq Zidan on Friday congratulated the formation of the government and the completion of the constitutional entitlements, expressing hope that the government would succeed in advancing the Iraqi state and fulfilling the aspirations of the people.

Judge Zidan said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), “We are pleased to extend our sincerest congratulations and best wishes to the Iraqi people in all their components, and to all political forces, on the completion of the constitutional entitlements resulting from the democratic process in the 2025 Council of Representatives elections, and the formation of a government with a new character different from its predecessors.”

He added, “We hope that this government will succeed in advancing the reality of the Iraqi state, fulfilling the aspirations of its great people, and elevating it to a level that earns the acceptance and satisfaction of the Supreme Religious Authority, which expresses the will and aspirations of Iraqis who love and are devoted to their homeland, a homeland that shall always remain the safe tent uniting us all.”
