The head of the Hikma Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, and the leader of the Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq Movement, Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, affirmed that preserving the unity of the coordination framework is both a political and national duty.
According to a statement issued by his office and received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Mr. Hakim emphasized that "supporting the government of Ali al-Zaidi and enabling it to confront challenges will only be achieved through unity and prioritizing objectives," stressing that "political fragmentation at this stage is a luxury that the interests of the citizens cannot bear."
In discussing the coordination framework, the two leaders, according to the statement, affirmed that "the unity of the coordination framework was not merely a political arrangement but a genuine guarantee of stability that has proven its worth during the most difficult periods," emphasizing that "preserving this unity is both a political and national duty."
