Fars News Agency reported on Tuesday that a legal and technical meeting was held between Iran and the Sultanate of Oman in Muscat, the capital of Oman, to discuss developments related to the Strait of Hormuz.
According to the agency, the meeting discussed the latest developments concerning the strait, in addition to arrangements to ensure the safe passage of ships through the strategic waterway.
During the meeting, both sides affirmed their sovereign rights and jurisdiction over the Strait of Hormuz, considering it part of the territorial waters of both Iran and Oman.
