Iran Envoy Urges U.N. Security Council Members to Reject Draft Resolution on Hormuz

Iran's ambassador to the United Nations, Amir Saeid Iravani, on Thursday called on member states of the U.N. Security Council to reject a U.S.-Bahraini draft resolution concerning the Strait of Hormuz.

Speaking in remarks on Thursday, Iravani said Iran considered the U.S.-Bahraini draft resolution on the Strait of Hormuz to be "mistaken".

He added that Iran was urging member states of the U.N. Security Council to reject the U.S.-Bahraini draft resolution regarding the Strait of Hormuz.
