The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon (Hezbollah) announced on Wednesday that it targeted an Israeli army vehicle in the town of Deir Siryan with a swoop, inflicting casualties among the evacuation force.
"In defense of Lebanon and its people, and in response to the Israeli enemy's violation of the ceasefire and the attacks that targeted villages in southern Lebanon, resulting in martyrs and several wounded civilians, the mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance targeted an Israeli enemy army Namera vehicle at 19:10 on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at Khallat al-Raj in the town of Deir Siryan with a swoop, and it was seen burning," said Hezbollah in a statement.
Hezbollah added, "Following this, a helicopter intervened to evacuate the wounded, then the Mujahideen targeted the evacuation force with artillery shells, and enemy soldiers were seen fleeing the area."
