The Iranian Foreign Ministry confirmed on Wednesday that its minister, Abbas Araqchi, informed his Chinese counterpart of Tehran's seriousness regarding diplomacy and its readiness to confront aggression.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry stated that "Araqchi briefed his Chinese counterpart on the latest developments in the diplomatic process and the efforts and initiatives to end the war."
It added that "Araqchi informed his Chinese counterpart that Tehran is serious about diplomacy and ready to confront any hostile acts."
