On Wednesday, gold prices hoveredaround 1.03 million IQD per mithqal in Baghdad and Erbil markets, according toa survey by Shafaq News Agency.

Gold prices on Baghdad'sAl-Nahr Street recorded a selling price of 1.035million IQD per mithqal (equivalent to five grams) for21-carat gold, including Gulf, Turkish, and European varieties, with a buyingprice of 1.031 million IQD. The same gold had sold for 1.047 million IQD on Tuesday.

The selling price for 21-caratIraqi gold stood at 1.005 million IQD, while the buying price reached 1.001million IQD.

In jewelry stores, the sellingprice per mithqal of 21-carat Gulf gold ranged between 1.035million and 1.045 million IQD, while Iraqi gold sold for between 1.005million and 1.015 million IQD.

In Erbil, 22-carat gold wassold at 1.078 million IQD per mithqal, 21-carat gold at 1.030million IQD, and 18-carat gold at 883,000IQD.
