President Nizar Amidi received two congratulatory messages on Tuesday from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Saudi Crown Prince.

The Iraqi Presidency's Media Office stated in statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "President Nizar Amidi received a congratulatory message from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, on the occasion of his assumption of the presidency."

In the message, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, according to the statement, expressed his "congratulations and best wishes to the President for success in his duties," emphasizing his "aspiration to work with the President to strengthen the fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries and enhance them in all fields."

The President also received a congratulatory message from Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi Prime Minister, on the occasion of his assumption of the presidency.

The Saudi Crown Prince expressed his "warmest congratulations, wishing the President health and happiness, and the Iraqi people further progress and prosperity."
