Basrah crudes rise with global benchmarks

Iraq’s Basrah crude edged higher on Tuesday, tradingnear $60 a barrel in line with gains across global oil markets.

Basrah Heavy crude climbed 0.95% to $59.44 per barrel,and Basrah Medium crude advanced 0.91%, reaching $61.89 per barrel.

Brent crude futures rose 15 cents, or 0.2%, to $64.09a barrel at 0430 GMT. US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures increased 14cents, ‌or 0.2%, to $59.58.
