Iran's Araghchi discusses Hormuz Strait security with his Saudi, Omani counterparts
Iran's foreign minister Abbas Araghchi discussed issues related to the security of the Strait of Hormuz with his Saudi and Omani counterparts late on Monday.
In separate phone calls, the statement said Araghchi "discussed the latest bilateral and regional developments, and emphasised the need to strengthen cooperation and advance joint diplomatic efforts to establish stability in the region".
The call between the Iranian foreign minister and his Saudi counterpart, Faisal bin Farhan, followed the kingdom's interception of drones reportedly launched at it by Iranian-affiliated groups in Iraq.
