US says it will maintain Iran naval blocakade, redirects 12 vessels
US Central Command (Centcom) confirmed on Sunday that it will maintain its naval blockade against Iran, saying it had “redirected 12 commercial vessels trying to run the blockade, disabled two that didn’t comply, and boarded two″.
US forces also stopped a ship crossing the Strait of Hormuz on Friday “after the crew attempted to violate the blockade multiple times and ignored repeated warnings”.
