US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that “the United States would respond to any Iranian attack on a ship in the Strait of Hormuz by destroying a bridge or power station.”
"Any time Iran fires on a ship in the Strait of Hormuz, we will bomb and destroy a bridge or power station," stated the US president in remarks reported by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
He added, "We will respond to an Iranian attack on any ship by bombing a bridge or power station, including near or within Tehran."
