The Dutch Motor Vehicle Authority (RDW), known for its stringent standards, has granted official certification to the Omuda and Jaeco brands after they successfully passed the Safety Management System (SMS) audit according to UN/ECE R171, the highest vehicle safety standard in the European Union.
In a statement reported by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the RDW confirmed that "the brand's Intelligent Driving Safety Management System meets one of the highest vehicle safety standards in the European Union, reinforcing its position as a global leader in the field of intelligent mobility."
The statement further explained that "Omuda and Jaeco, by successfully passing this audit, have demonstrated that their approved intelligent driving systems comply with international safety and quality standards, covering functional safety, safety of intended functions (SOTIF), artificial intelligence (AI) safety, and the management of the entire vehicle lifecycle, from development to actual road operation."
