Fresh Iranian attacks on US targets in the region
The Iranian army said that it carried out a new wave of drone attacks targeting US military facilities at al-Azraq US base in Jordan and Sheikh Isa US base in Bahrain.
According to state broadcaster IRIB, the operation was launched early on Wednesday.
In Jordan, Iranian forces reportedly struck "housing and welfare facilities" and "equipment storage sites used by the US military".
Meanwhile, large equipment warehouses and heavy aircraft maintenance and repair workshops were targeted at the Sheikh Isa US base in Bahrain.
