Iraq's Interior Ministry said on Tuesday that itscounter-trafficking directorate had dismantled two criminal networks involvedin trafficking and unlawfully exploiting children in Baghdad and otherprovinces.
The operation led to the arrest of the networks' members andthe rescue of the child victims, who were placed under legal protection andcare.
All the suspects have been referred to the competentjudiciary for legal action.
