Iraqi Minister of Communications Mustafa Sanad and Turkish Minister of Transport Abdulkadir Uraloglu, who is responsible for the communications and infrastructure sector in the Republic of Turkey, on Tuesday, discussed bilateral cooperation and strengthening strategic partnerships, particularly transit and regional connectivity projects.
A statement from the Ministry of Communications, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), indicated that "Minister of Communications Mustafa Sanad received Turkish Minister of Transport Abdulkadir Uraloglu, who is responsible for the communications and infrastructure sector in the Republic of Turkey."
According to the statement "the two sides discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation and strengthening strategic partnerships, especially transit and regional connectivity projects, which contribute to activating Iraq's geographical location and consolidating its position as a major route for international data and communications traffic, as well as strengthening relations between the two countries in a way that serves the common interests of the two friendly peoples."
