The head of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC), Judge Faiq Zaidan, and the head of the Iraqi Football Association, Younis Mahmoud, discussed on Monday the problems facing the development of football.
A statement issued by the Supreme Judicial Council and received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) indicated that "the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zidan, received the President of the Iraqi Football Association, Younis Mahmoud."
At the beginning of the meeting, Judge Zidan congratulated the President of the Football Association on assuming his position, noting that they discussed addressing the legal challenges facing the development of football in Iraq.
