Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Monday that it had targeted U.S. military aircraft at Aqaba Airport in Jordan, claiming to have inflicted damage, according to Iranian state media.
In a statement broadcast by Iranian state television, the IRGC said its Aerospace Force launched ballistic missiles at U.S. heavy transport aircraft and command-and-control aircraft stationed at Aqaba Airport, claiming that the attack caused significant damage to a large number of the aircraft.
