Iran attacks Kurdistan Freedom Party's bases, state broadcaster says
Iran has launched heavy attacks on bases belonging to the Kurdistan Freedom Party in Erbil and Sulaymaniyah, according to Iranian state broadcaster IRIB.
Earlier, Kurdish-language broadcaster Aryen TV reported that Iran had closed the Marivan and Hawraman border crossings with Iraq and urged residents to stay away from the surrounding frontier areas in Kurdistan province.
