The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced on Friday that it had carried out what it described as a large-scale and surprise attack targeting the US Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar.
In a statement, the Revolutionary Guard said that its Aerospace Force had launched a powerful and surprise attack on Al Udeid Air Base.
It added: "We completely destroyed a long-range radar system and US strategic refueling aircraft in the attack on Al Udeid Air Base."
