PMF begins implementing their service plan for the Arba'een pilgrimage in the holy city of Karbala

The Popular Mobilization Forces announced today, Friday, the commencement of their service plan for the Arba'een pilgrimage.

A statement issued by the PMF and received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) indicated that "the PMF's Service and Engineering Directorate has begun implementing the service plan for the Arba'een pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), under the direction of the PMF Chief of Staff, Abdul Aziz al-Muhammadawi, and in coordination with the Governor of Karbala."

The statement further explained that "vehicles and specialized personnel have been deployed to work sites across various axes of the holy city of Karbala to carry out cleaning operations, prepare roads, support service departments, and provide various services that contribute to serving the millions of pilgrims arriving to commemorate this blessed pilgrimage."

He added that "this campaign came within an integrated service plan prepared by the Directorate of Service and Engineering Effort, in coordination with governmental, security and service agencies, with the aim of providing the best services, supporting the governorate's efforts, and ensuring the success of the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him)."
