For his part, Anbar Governor Omar Mishaan al-Dabbous said, "The province was honored to receive Sayyid Al-Hakim on his third official visit," explaining that "the visit included discussions on important issues with social, service, security, and economic dimensions."

He added that "the visit reflects the level of attention given to Anbar province and the other provinces," emphasizing that "the meeting addressed the province's entitlements and the rights of its citizens, ways to achieve economic and security integration, as well as support for projects needed by the province given its unique geographical characteristics, its vast area, its borders with three countries, and its connection to six other Iraqi provinces."

Al-Dabbous pointed out that “the importance of Anbar’s strategic location and its large natural resources, which can contribute to supporting the Iraqi economy through optimal investment in gas, phosphate, silica and other resources, were discussed,” stressing “the province’s need for exceptional support to achieve development and invest its potential in the right way.”
