Fars News Agency reported on Tuesday that explosions were heard on Qeshm Island in southern Iran.
Tasnim News Agency, in turn, quoted the Kish Electricity Company in southern Iran as saying that "American projectiles exploded near the Kish power plant".
"The American bombing may necessitate taking a number of production units offline", the Agency added.
