Iraqi President Nizar Amedi departed for the State of Qatar on Monday.
According to a statement issued by the Presidency’s Media Office and received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), President Amedi is traveling to Qatar to offer condolences to the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Al Thani family, and the Qatari people on the passing of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
The President expressed the Republic of Iraq’s solidarity with the State of Qatar during this time of mourning, extending heartfelt condolences and emphasizing the deep fraternal ties that unite the two countries and their peoples.
