On Sunday, gold prices hoverednear 900,000 IQD per mithqal in Baghdad and Erbil markets, according to a survey byShafaq News Agency.
Gold prices on Baghdad'sAl-Nahr Street recorded a selling price of 880,000IQD per mithqal (equivalent to five grams) for21-carat gold, including Gulf, Turkish, and European varieties, with a buyingprice of 876,000 IQD. The same gold had sold for 884,000 IQD on Saturday.
The selling price for 21-caratIraqi gold stood at 850,000 IQD,while the buying price reached 846,000 IQD.
In jewelry stores, the sellingprice per mithqal of 21-carat Gulf gold ranged between 880,000and 890,000 IQD, while Iraqi gold sold for between 850,000 and 860,000 IQD.
In Erbil, 22-carat gold wassold at 920,000 IQDper mithqal, 21-carat gold at 815,000 IQD, and 18-carat gold at 700,000IQD.
