Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi directed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Chief of Staff of the Army, and the relevant security authorities in the field in Basra Governorate on Saturday to follow up on the details of the incident of the killing of Iraqi Najm Abdullah.
The Prime Minister’s Media Office stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that “Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi directed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Chief of Staff of the Army, and the relevant security authorities in the field in Basra Governorate to follow up on the details of the incident of the killing of the Iraqi fisherman Najm Abdullah.”
The Prime Minister stressed "the importance of taking all legal measures to prevent the recurrence of such incidents and to protect the lives and property of our citizens."
