President Nizar Amedi left Baghdad on Friday, heading to the Islamic Republic of Iran to participate in the funeral and farewell ceremonies for the martyr Sayyid Ali Khamenei.
A statement from the President’s Media Office, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that “the President is scheduled to meet, as part of the visit, with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, and a number of officials, to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries and the two friendly peoples.”
