The Supreme Judicial Council President Faiq Zidan met head of Iraq National Security Service –INSS Bassem al-Badri on Tuesday to discuss coordination on investigative cases falling within the INSS's jurisdiction.
The Supreme Judicial Council said in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency-INA that “the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, received the head of the National Security Service, Bassem al-Badri.”
The statement added that, at the beginning of the meeting, Zidan congratulated al-Badri on assuming his position and discussed with him joint coordination between the judiciary and the National Security Service on investigative cases falling within INSS jurisdiction.
