The Coordination Framework-FC reaffirmed on Monday its support for the government's anti-corruption efforts and the ongoing Operation Dawn Strike, stressing the need to sustain these efforts, purge state institutions of corrupt and negligent officials, and put an end to the waste of public funds.
According to a statement issued by the Coordination Framework and received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), FC held its regular meeting (No. 282) on Monday at the office of Abdul Hussein al-Mousawi, head of the National Approach Alliance, in the presence of Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi.
The statement added that, at the outset of the meeting, participants reiterated their condolences to the Islamic nation and the Iraqi people on the martyrdom of the grandson of Prophet Muhammad during the historic event of Ashura, while commending the efforts of the security and service agencies, as well as the Husseini processions, in ensuring the successful observance of the occasion.
The Coordination Framework, according to the statement, called on its supporters to participate widely in the funeral procession for the late Martyer Sayyed Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in Iraq, in tribute to his sacrifice.
