The head of the National State Forces Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, expressed his support on Monday for the measures taken by the judicial and executive authorities in the context of reform and the fight against corruption.
In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Sayyid al-Hakim said, “I welcome the measures taken by the judicial and executive authorities as part of reform and the fight against corruption,” emphasizing that “they represent an important step toward consolidating the rule of law, protecting public funds, and strengthening citizens’ confidence in state institutions.”
He added that “the success of these efforts requires broad national support, free from any political or sectarian considerations,” calling on “all political and civil society forces, as well as the media, to support the path of reform and the fight against corruption in all its forms, and to foster a culture of integrity and accountability, thereby contributing to the building of a strong and just state based on the rule of law that safeguards citizens’ rights and resources.”
