The Iranian government affirmed on Saturday its determination to proceed with managing the Strait of Hormuz, indicating that it will hold talks with the Sultanate of Oman regarding the strait's management.
In a statement carried by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the Iranian government said, "We are determined to move forward with managing the Strait of Hormuz and exchanging views with neighboring countries."
It added, "We will hold talks with the Sultanate of Oman to determine the framework for managing maritime services in the Strait of Hormuz in the future."
