An earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale struck Pakistan on Saturday morning, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).
The earthquake struck at a depth of 35 kilometers below the Earth's surface and was recorded at 8:36 a.m. local time in Pakistan. The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) located the epicenter 63 kilometers northeast of Barkhan, Pakistan.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or injuries, and local authorities are closely monitoring the situation. No significant structural damage to buildings has been reported so far.
