Iranian television reported on Friday that an explosion was heard in the southern city of Sirik.
Iran's state television said, "An explosion was heard in the Taheriyeh area in the city of Sirik in southern Iran, with its source still unknown."
Earlier on Friday, U.S. President Donald Trump said, "I do not like Iran firing yesterday at a ship in the Strait of Hormuz. It should not do that, and you will know our response soon."
