US President Donald Trump confirmed on Wednesday that no Iranian assets have been released.
"Iran informed us that there are no fees required to cross the Strait of Hormuz. No money has been given to Iran, nor have any of their assets been released from America," Trump said in a press statement.
He added that "Iran's funds will be spent solely on American products."
