Consultative meeting of Arab Foreign Ministers begins in Jordan

The consultative meeting of Arab foreign ministers began on Monday in Amman, Jordan.

The consultative meeting of Arab foreign ministers, convened at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, has commenced in Amman, Jordan, said the reporter of the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

The meeting aims “to coordinate positions and exchange views on the issues at hand, contributing to strengthening joint Arab action and supporting efforts to address current regional challenges.”

Jordan will host, following the consultative meeting, a meeting of the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level for its resumed 165th regular session.

The meeting is scheduled to discuss several issues of common interest, the political and security developments in the region, as well as the topics on the Council's agenda.

The resumed session is a continuation of the work of the 165th regular session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level, which was held on March 29, 2026, under the chairmanship of Bahrain via videoconference.
