The Spanish national team secured a commanding 4-0 victory over Saudi Arabia on Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, in a Group H match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Spain asserted their dominance early, with Lamine Yamal opening the scoring in the 10th minute after capitalizing on a swift counterattack and a precise cross from Mikel Oyarzabal.
La Roja maintained their attacking momentum, with Oyarzabal adding a second goal in the 20th minute following a corner kick before netting his second and Spain’s third just three minutes later.
At the start of the second half, Spain extended their lead through an own goal by Saudi defender Hassan Al-Tambakti in the 49th minute.
With this victory, Spain claimed their first win of the tournament and moved to four points in Group H after opening their campaign with a draw against Cape Verde.
