The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy confirmed on Saturday that ships must not approach the Strait of Hormuz.
In a statement carried by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the navy said, "Ships must not approach the Strait of Hormuz, otherwise their safety will be jeopardized."
It added that "the Strait of Hormuz was closed due to the crimes of the Zionist entity in Lebanon and America's violation of its ceasefire commitments."
