Pakistani Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi traveled to the Iranian capital, Tehran, on an official visit to discuss regional and international developments and to meet with high-ranking Iranian officials.
The Iranian news agency IRNA reported that the Pakistani minister will hold talks with several Iranian officials, addressing issues of mutual interest and bilateral relations,the agency added that the visit will also include discussions on the ongoing negotiations between Iran and the United States, as well as political and security developments in the region.
The Tasnim news agency had previously reported that the Pakistani interior minister's visit was part of ongoing efforts to monitor the progress of negotiations between Tehran and Washington and to consult on a number of regional issues.
