Swiss authorities announced on Friday the postponement of the negotiations that had been scheduled to take place today between Iran and the United States in Switzerland.

These talks were intended to begin technical discussions on the implementation of the recent understanding reached between the two sides, but they were postponed at the last minute.

According to reports, the White House confirmed that U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance will not travel to Switzerland for the time being, indicating that arrangements for the negotiations have not yet been finalized and that the talks will begin as soon as possible once suitable conditions are in place.

Reports indicate that the reasons for the postponement are related to logistical obstacles and disagreements linked to recent security and regional developments, in addition to uncertainty regarding the participation of the Iranian delegation on the scheduled date.
