National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji discussed the security agreement between Iraq and the Islamic Republic of Iran in Sulaimaniyah on Thursday.
The National Security Advisor's media office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "In implementation of the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi, National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji headed a high-level security delegation on Thursday to discuss the security agreement between Iraq and the Islamic Republic of Iran in Sulaimaniyah, pursuant to Decree No. (23151)."
The statement added that "the delegation discussed the procedures necessary for its implementation, which will contribute to strengthening cooperation and joint coordination, and protecting Iraq's borders."
