US President Donald Trump confirmed on Wednesday that oil prices dropped immediately after the announcement of the agreement with Iran.
Trump said, "The agreement with Iran is good for many reasons, including preventing them from acquiring nuclear weapons," adding that "the Strait of Hormuz has been partially reopened and will be fully reopened within the next two days."
He added that "the agreement with Iran has resulted in a rise in market indicators and a decrease in fuel prices," explaining that "the memorandum of understanding does not stipulate that we pay any money to Iran, but we cannot prevent any party from investing there."
He pointed out that "oil prices dropped immediately after the announcement of the agreement with Iran."
