Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif affirmed on Monday that the peace treaty is a victory for diplomacy and a rejection of war.
Sharif stated, in remarks reported by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The peace treaty is not merely between two countries; it is a victory for peace, a success for diplomacy, and a rejection of war. We congratulate the US President, the Iranian Supreme Leader, and the Iranian President on reaching an agreement during a difficult period."
He added, "Qatar cooperated with us at the highest level, and we received support from Saudi Arabia and Turkey, for which we thank them."
