Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced on Sunday that a peace agreement had been reached between the United States and Iran following intensive negotiations between the two sides.
Sharif said that Washington and Tehran had agreed to an immediate and final ceasefire on all fronts, including the Lebanese arena, adding that both sides had declared a permanent halt to military operations under the new agreement.
He further stated that the agreement between the United States and Iran is scheduled to be formally signed on June 19 in Switzerland, describing the development as an important step toward enhancing regional stability and reducing tensions in the region.
