President Amedi: Reform, Strong Institutions and Global Partnerships Are Driving Iraq’s Future

President Nizar Amedi confirmed on Sunday, that Iraq is committed to building effective partnerships that strengthen our institutions, advance reform and deliver lasting improvements for our citizens.

“President Nizar Amedi and senior United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) official Abdallah Al Dardari discussed expanding cooperation to support Iraq’s development priorities and institutional reform during a meeting at Al-Salam Palace in Baghdad on Sunday,” stated The Presidency Of The Republic in a statement received by The Iraqi News Agency-INA.

"Iraq is committed to building effective partnerships that strengthen our institutions, advance reform and deliver lasting improvements for our citizens," President Amedi said. "Through cooperation with international organizations, we are creating the foundations for sustainable development, economic opportunity and long-term prosperity," he added.

For his part, Dr. Al Dardari highlighted UNDP’s continued commitment to supporting Iraq’s development priorities and expanding cooperation with national institutions, underscoring the importance of joint efforts that promote inclusive growth, institutional resilience and sustainable progress.
