CENTCOM: We Changed the Course of 136 Ships as Part of the Naval Blockade Against Iran

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced on Friday that its forces had diverted 136 vessels as part of measures related to enforcing the naval blockade against Iran.

"We diverted 136 vessels and disabled 9 vessels to ensure their compliance with the naval blockade against Iran," CENTCOM said, noting that "maritime monitoring and inspection operations are continuing according to approved military plans."

"Its forces continue to conduct maritime patrols in territorial waters as part of operations aimed at enforcing the naval blockade and monitoring maritime traffic in areas covered by US measures," CENTCOM added.
