An explosion was heard at sea about two kilometers off the coast of Sirik in southern Iran, Iranian media reported on Thursday.
Iran's Mehr News Agency said an explosion was heard offshore approximately two kilometers from the coast of Sirik Port in Hormozgan Province.
Iranian state television also reported that another explosion was heard in the maritime area off the city of Sirik in the south of the country.
